How to use the ALLTEST DSD863 direct saliva drug test kits:

1. Remove the saliva drug test kit from foil pouch and remove the cover.
2. Wipe the mouth swab tongue collector around the mouth and oral cavity
3. Then ask the donor (the person being drug tested) to feed saliva onto the collector, held in the mouth.
4. Watch the test membranes running in the results windows and remove the drug test kit after the control lines have all formed. Once the control lines are all visible, it means the oral drug test kit has absorbed enough fluid to run the test correctly.
5. Read the result at 10 minutes.

THC detection on the saliva drug test kit

Cannabis use is more difficult to detect in saliva than in urine. This direct saliva drug test kit detects the parent THC drug in the oral cavity, which has been found to be far more reliable.

This means that the effectiveness of the drug test for Cannabis THC depends on the collector swab being wiped thoroughly around the entire oral cavity, to pick up and collect these THC residues.
