Saliva drug testing kits that screen for multiple drugs

Saliva drug test kits that screen for multiple drugs quickly and accurately. Screen easily on site for between 4 and 13 drugs on one oral fluid mouth swab drug test kit.

An oral fluid drug screen, also known as a saliva drug test, is a method of testing for the presence of drugs in a person’s system using a sample of oral fluid also known as saliva. It is commonly used in workplace drug testing, roadside checks, or other scenarios where non-invasive, quick, and relatively simple drug testing is required.

Sample Collection:
A small swab or absorbent pad is placed in the mouth, often between the cheek and gums or under the tongue, to collect the oral fluid. The swab also needs to be thoroughly wiped around the oral cavity to pick up any drug residues that are in the mouth. This is particularly important in the case of THC detection in oral fluid, as the drug test kit detects the parent compound of Cannabis in the oral fluid.

The more drugs that you are testing for, the bigger the oral fluid sample that is required to be collected.

How an oral fluid drug screen works:

Drugs that can be detected on an oral fluid drug screening test:
Oral fluid drug screens can test for various substances, including:

  • Cannabis (THC)
  • Cocaine
  • Amphetamines
  • Methamphetamines
  • Opiates
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Alcohol (in some cases)
  • Buprenorphine
  • Cotinine
  • Ecstasy
  • Fentanyl
  • Ketamine
  • Methadone
  • Oxycodone
  • Phencyclidine
  • Synthetic Marijuana
  • Tramadol

Detection window of drugs in oral fluid

Oral fluid drug tests are particularly good at detecting recent drug use, usually within the past few hours to 48 hours, depending on the substance.

Advantages of an oral fluid drug screen:

  • Non-invasive: No need for blood draws or urine collection.
  • Quick results: Rapid oral flyuid tests provide results within minutes.
  • Hard to tamper with: It's difficult for a person to interfere with or adulterate a saliva sample.

Disadvantages of an oral fluid drug screen:

  • Shorter detection period compared to urine or hair testing. This shorter detection time can be an advantage in workplace drug screening.
  • May be less effective at detecting certain drugs or long-term use for example it is less efficient at detecting Cannabis use than urine.
